See Me follows Caleb, a lonely and obsessive 25-year-old photographer on the hunt for the subject of his next photo series, who discovers an online group of voyeurs who meet in the park to watch people have sex. There, he encounters Francis — one of the voyeurs and the most beautiful man Caleb has ever seen.
Desperate to find out more about Francis, Caleb meticulously stalks him online. He discovers Francis' secret life as an OnlyFans camboy — Francis is a digital exhibitionist. Intrigued, Caleb returns to the park looking for Francis. But he's disappeared. Caleb wades into the dark world of Francis' double life to find him and, like a developing photograph, emerges a distorted facsimile of the man who has overtaken his mind.

Origin
A HISTORY OF PERVERSION. The story is inspired by The Park, a 1971 photo series by Japanese photographer Kohei Yoshiyuki, who captured the nighttime activities of deviants in public parks in metropolitan Tokyo. During a time of extreme sexual repression, young men and women gathered in the dark to indulge their primal urges — and did so with an audience, some of whom would join in.
In adapting this story to the modern era, we looked to online forums that provide an outlet for extreme and niche interests, along with the time-honoured practice of cruising in the gay community. While the world has changed, the story remains the same: outsiders are brought together by a desire society has deemed unsavoury.

Sky Yang is an actor on the rise. He most recently won the lead role in Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow, the adaptation of the best-selling novel opposite Daisy Edgar-Jones. Yang's credits include the starring role in Fast & The Furious director Justin Lin's drama Last Days, which earned rave reviews at Sundance, as well as the horror film Whistle.
Yang is slated to appear in Paul Greengrass's historical drama The Uprising as part of a starry cast that includes Andrew Garfield, Jamie Bell, and Tom Hollander. In 2026 he finished filming Unspeakable with Eliza Scanlen, directed by Corinna Faith, and wrapped on The Exiles in Taiwan, directed by Midi Z with Sam Worthington. Yang's film career started with a leading role in Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon. Sky was named a 2023 Screen International Star of Tomorrow.

Director's statement
When I was sixteen, a stranger on a message board twenty years older than me asked me to send them a nude. Even though it scared me, I wanted to, because I felt an all-encompassing desire for that person to see me. My goal is to imbue that feeling into the film - of lonely people in a digital world wanting desperately to be loved - so that when the lights go up in the theatre, audiences will reflect on the terrifying cost of truly being seen.

Christopher Yip is an award-winning director based in Toronto with a morbid curiosity in horror. His series Streams Flow From a River premiered at the Cannes International Series Festival and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction. He is attending TIFF: The Market with the Directors Guild of Canada to pitch his debut feature film, See Me.
Christopher participated in the Directors Guild of Canada's inaugural National Directors Division Directors Mentorship Program for 2024–2025 and is an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access × Canadian Academy Director's Program. He is represented by Jennifer Irons at META Talent Agency.
